Week 8
This was the Eighth week of Top Chef Season 5, New York. 9 chefs are still in the house after two were sent home last week. Tonight's guest judge is Hung from season 3.
Quickfire Challenge
To start the show the contestants have to do a "Quickfire Challenge" which is generally a skills test. Today's was a cooking challenge - the contestants have to make a dish out of pantry items - mostly canned stuff like spam and such - and do it in only 15 minutes.

The cheftestants are split into three teams:

Arienne goes home and she's a little bitter about it. She calls Leah "not a team player" and Hosea a "wimp".
